Tivoli House, located in the woods of Tivoli, NY, is a Passive House that utilizes CEMBRA Aluminum windows. Passive Houses are highly energy efficient and use very little energy to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature. Tivoli House uses a combination of Passive House techniques and CEMBRA Aluminum windows to achieve this level of efficiency. The CEMBRA windows are extremely airtight and have a low U-value, meaning they allow very little heat to escape. In addition, the windows are coated with a special film that reflects heat back into the house. As a result, the Tivoli House is able to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature without the need for expensive heating and cooling systems.
